The focal bead is an African Opal purchased at the Interweave Bead Show. 

 
The African Opal has a handbeaded bezel around it.  Made with complimenting seed bead colors, of purple, blue and silver.
The band is created with the same seed beads used in the Bezel setting.
 
This is not an elastic band.  We have found using elastic descreases the lifespan of our jewelry.
